Hobo Danger Woman: The Final Frontier

Now, I think some people might think I have gone crazy. Well, I was always crazy, so you are the one who has gone off the deep end. Now, if you actually enjoyed all those colors, then send me a message and I'll work extra hard to learn php and let you use a magic cookie to store your color settings for the site. If you hated the evil colors (that would be you Mandy), then you can obviously now see the words, and I'll remove all the parts that made fun of your not being able to see orange (wait, there was never anything about that in the first place). Well, there is no content, so I leave you with a picture I made instead: (you have to click the picture for the really big one) [Hobo Danger Woman to the Rescue! - pic]

If you really need to know how I did this, I will now tell you a little story. It is about the picture, if you are really stupid and haven't been able to follow along. I started with being attacked by my friend Mandy (Hobo Danger Woman herself, although my drawing looks nothing like her, Mandy looks better [ed. note: put in there to avoid being beaten to death by Mandy]). I stole her idea (and put un-official on top of it) and drew this magical picture by hand. With a pencil and a large eraser. I then inked over it with a cheap pen, and scanned it. I simply ran autotrace on the image to make a file sketch could use. I then cleaned up the random artifacts that autotrace (due to my horrible black and white sheetfed scanner giving it a bad image) left behind, and colored it in. Considering an average two year old can draw better than me, I think I did pretty well. I converted it to a postscript file (which you can download from my site, by clicking the following link or going to the URL http://unknownlamer.org/img/src/hobo_danger_woman.ps ) and converted the postscript file to a jpeg using the GIMP (because I am too lazy to read the ImageMagick docs for convert). I'm quite the graphic artist, aren't I? I love free software. To do what I did with proprietary software would have cost me a lot of money. But, this is a discussion for another page. Come back whenever you feel like it for more cool stuff and lots of nifty stuff. I dare you to get the postscript file and zoom in on the tag on Hobo Danger Woman's shirt. May the not-very-funny-but-I'd-like-to-think-it-was powers be with you.

Person Behind it all

The person behind Hobo Danger Woman (and who let me put up this page) is Mandy. Here is a picture of Mandy: [Picture of Mandy]

Mandy Rocks. You must bow before her. While you are bowing, look at some hobo danger stuff she drew and I colored:

The above picture was done for an AIM buddy icon (what else do you think we use...I know that AIM is evil but everyone else uses it so I have no choice). Well, I have nothing more for this page for now (maybe more pictures or funny stories for later, or more pictures of Mandy).
